Locums – Athens, Ohio, Hospitalist Opening
- Clinical Role:

- ASAP – Ongoing Need
- Shift: 7 on/ 7 off, 7a-7p and 7p-7a
- Weekend Requirements
- EMR- EPIC
- Daily census- 20-25 daily per team
- Nightly admissions- Low night admissions (5-10 is a lot and it’s early in the night)
- Physician shifts- 7a-7p (2 physicians) and 7p-7a (1 physicians)
- Daily encounters 10-15
- APP shifts- 7a-7p (2 APP’s)
- Daily encounters 7-10
- Number of ICU beds- 8 (OPEN ICU)
- Specialty Coverages- cardiologist, neurologist, OB, Pulmonology
- Procedures Required- Due to open ICU hospitalist need to be skilled in intubation and preferably central lines. Hospitalists respond to codes
- They have 31 med surg beds/private rooms. They can double up if needed
- MUST be boarded ABMS/AOA IM/FM (can be double boarded ABPS) - Required
- MUST have 2+ recent experience - Required
- EM boarded physicians need NRP - Required
- Other boarded physicians need ACLS, ATLS, BLS, NRP and PALS -Required
- Reflecting Central Lines, Intubations, & Vents - Required
- Active Ohio license- Required
- COVID vaccination - Required
