A physician is needed for PRN Outpatient Locums position in Jamestown, NY. Physician will perform General Medicine to Adults, exclusively. $650 bonus for completing all required training and working the first shift/exam.
· Need is on a PRN up to full-time, ongoing (mostly depends on desired coverage)
· Accepting specialties: FM/IM/Orthopedic Surgery, etc. or anyone with a background in general medicine, or experience with compensation and pension.
· Two options for coverage: Travel and perform exams at VES leased facility and/or schedule Veterans within your own practice.
· One-Time non-treatment C&P exams + separation health assessments
· Exams are primarily interview-based w/some physical assessment. No prescribing/treatment
· Quick credentialing and onboarding
· Needing, at least, 3 Providers
· PRN shifts- options & rate type are as follows:
o Half-day Rate- flat rate for 4-hour shifts (includes time to complete exams, submit report, including any addendums, not OT, no admin time)
o Daily Rate- flat rate for 8-hour shifts (includes times to complete exams, submit, report, including any addendums, no OT, no admin time)
Required:
· Active/unrestricted NY state license
· BC/BE (within 0-3 years of residency)
· Familiar with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio required.
· Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.
· Own personal laptop (NO MACS)
· Must be willing to wear a mask during all visits.
· DMA certified or willing to train/certify.
