As a Hospitalist Medical Director with USACS, you’ll be responsible for managing hospitalist medicine services by collaborating with the hospital and nursing leadership while offering support to your physician staff. As a leader for both the hospital and US Acute Care Solutions, you will influence broad company decisions and help facilitate the development of new leaders.

Details

  • Oversee hospitalist service operations
  • Supervise HM staff, per the bylaws, policies and procedures of the institution
  • Represent the staff in the community and within the hospital

HOSPITALIST SERVICE

  • Average Daily Encounters: 31
  • Must be IM or FP board certified
  • Nocturnists must be comfortable with codes and procedures
  • The team is supported by an IAC RN and an administrative coordinator
  • Multispecialty support

HOSPITAL

  • Small, community hospital of fewer than 100 beds with a family approach with the ultimate goal of providing the very best patient care
  • Specialties supported include general surgery, bariatric surgery, urology, gynecology, orthopedics, nephrology, neurology, cardiology, gastroenterology on-call coverage
  • Consults available for ID and Hematology/Oncology
  • 24/7 podiatry
