Envision Physician services is seeking a hospital medicine leader for the role of Site Medical Director at Mission Trail Baptist Hospital in San Antonio! This is a full time clinical position with director stipend.

Requirements: Must be IM or FM Trained and Board Certified

Position Profile:

  • Average Daily Census: 20
  • Average Night Census: 10 to 16
  • Cerner EMR
  • Response to codes: occasionally
  • Open ICU
  • 3 physicians on during the day / 1 Advanced Practice Provider
  • 1 night physician

Mission Trail Baptist Hospital, part of the Baptist Health System, was established in 2011 and has 110 private beds. The goal is to take care of their patients with the highest level of patient care and unique comforts this facility can offer. The private patient rooms all have access to natural light and views, plus noise reduction features, plus entertainment and educational movies on demand. This is one of the busiest emergency rooms in San Antonio, plus it has an accredited Chest Pain Center and a Would Care and Limb salvage program. Mission Trail is the first in Texas as a LEED gold-certified hospital by the U.S. Green Building Council. It is a Joint Commission Center of Excellence for Total Joint, hip & knee. There is also a minimally invasive surgical fellowship program.
