Medstaff is assisting with Hospitalist and Nocturnist coverage for a client located in southwestern Louisiana.
Here are the details:
- Requires a BC Internal or Family Medicine Physician, or BE within a few years of residency, ready to sit for the boards, with LA license, DEA and recent Hospitalist experience
- 12-hr shifts, 7a-7p - day physician expected to round, admit and discharge equaling about 17-19 encounters per shift.
- 7p-7a expected to round and do admits, about 14-18 encounters per shift
- Requires a minumum of 7 shifts in a row
- No procedures, will do codes
- Open ICU with onsite Intensivist, no Trauma Level
- EMR is Paragon
- Start is based on time for acceptance and credentialing, looking for a commitment through December 2024
