Arc Health is actively seeking a ABIM or ABFM certified Hospitalist Physician to provide Inpatient and Urgent care services at an IHS facility in Polacca, AZ as soon as credentialed.
Nestled in the heart of Polacca, AZ, a vibrant rural tribal community steeped in the rich traditions of the Navajo and Hopi tribes. With approximately 13,500 annual patient visits, the facility is committed to providing exceptional healthcare services to every member of the community.
The emergency room operates 24-hours a day and Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANE) responders are available at all times.
The service unit is located 150 miles from the Grand Canyon National Park, with excellent opportunities for photography and outdoor recreation.

Job Responsibilities
Creating and recommending treatment plans.
Taking patient medical histories.
Updating patient information and charts with the latest findings and treatments.
Ordering tests for health care staff to administer.
Reviewing and interpreting test results.
Responding to questions and concerns from patients about their health care and well-being.
Working with various medical staff to provide patient care.
Qualifications
Board certified in Family Practice or Internal Medicine.
Active, unrestricted license and DEA from any state or US territory
BLS, ACLS and PALS
Not had a lapse in practice > 6 months leading up to assignment
Committed to rural, Tribal, and underserved healthcare
Compassionate, mission-driven social medicine practitioners
Interested in joining a dynamic and potentially disruptive social healthcare
Available 1 or two weeks each month
Working Hours
Wednesday - Tuesday schedule
