Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) is a government contractor helping our nation’s Veterans. The VES site in Waco, TX. Seeking General Medicine Providers to perform Compensation & Pension exams + Separation Health Assessments for Adults.

$650 bonus for completing all required training and working the first shift/exam.

· Need is on a PRN basis, ongoing.

· Accepting specialties: FM/IM/Orthopedic Surgery, etc. or anyone with a background in general medicine, or experience with compensation and pension.

· Two options for coverage: Travel and perform exams at VES leased facility and/or schedule Veterans within your own practice- must be within 30 miles.

· One-Time non-treatment C&P exams + separation health assessments

· Exams are primarily interview-based w/some physical assessment. No prescribing/treatment

· Training shall be provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs)

· Reporting/DBQs must be submitted within 48 hours upon exam completion - no narrative report. End product is completion of standardized form(s).

· Quick credentialing and onboarding

· Needing, at least, 5 Providers

· PRN shifts- options & rate type are as follows:

o Half-day Rate- flat rate for 4-hour shifts or less (includes time to complete exams, submit report, including any addendums, not OT, no admin time)

o Daily Rate- flat rate for 5-hour shifts or longer (includes times to complete exams, submit, report, including any addendums, no OT, no admin time)

Required:

· Active/unrestricted TX state license

· BC/BE (within 0-3 years of residency)

· Familiar with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio required.

· Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.

· Use of Goniometer required.

· Own personal laptop (NO MACS)

· Must be willing to wear a mask during all visits.

· DMA certified or willing to train/certify.
