Schedule
- 7 on - 7 off - Preferred
- Day and night shifts
- Night shift: 6p - 6a
Clinical Details
- # of beds: 195 total
- # of ICU beds: 20
- Open ICU
- Admits (on average/daily): 16+ (day), 5-7 (night)
- Run codes
- On Rapid Response team
- Specialty backups: all specialties except vascular and cardiothoracic surgical available
- Night back up is Anesthesiology, Intensivist, and ER physicians
- Between 2 providers there will be 8-9 admissions
- Nights are no difficult
- No ICU, No procedures
Requirements
- Active WV License
Support Staff
- # on day teams: 6
- On days the NP works, staff 6 rounders and close the 7th Rounder for Census >112
- When lower census, close the 6th/7th rounders and offer an 8-hour swing shift (7a-3p)
- 2 Nocturnist and NP
