Job Description
We're looking for a Hospitalist who can do it all to provide locum tenens coverage in a West Michigan hospital March-July. We are offering $190/hr (firm), along with mileage reimbursement or rental car, and lodging. Complimentary medical malpractice coverage also provided.
Here are the details:
-7 on/off
-Schedule runs Monday-Sunday
-March-July: 3/25-3/31, 4/8-4/14, 4/22-4/28, 5/6-5/12, 5/20-5/26, 6/3-6/9, 6/17-6/23, 7/1-7/7
-Option to Extend
-16-18 patients/day
-0-3 admissions--APP assists
-Rounding, Admissions and Procedures and Night Shifts--Potential Areas of coverage include 8 bed ICU, Telemetry, MedSurg, General Floor
-Must be comfortable with typical procedures like lines, vent management, and intubations

Qualifications
-Minimum of 2 years of experience
-Case Logs to show procedures performed in recent two years (min 10 intubations required)
-Clean History/No Malpractice (preferred)
-Active MI License and DEA
-BLS/ACLS Certification
-COVID Vaccination
-Available to work the open dates/schedule - no breaking up weeks.
-Local, Drive-in Candidates Only
