TeamHealth has a new nocturnist hospitalist opening at St. David's North Austin Medical Center in Austin, Texas. This is an established program between TeamHealth and HCA staffed with internal medicine hospitalists and nocturnists that are all local to Austin. Our physicians work a traditional 7-on, 7-off schedule.
St. David's Georgetown has a total of 114 beds but only 50 beds are handled by the hospitalist program. We are currently staffing this with 18 hours of day shift coverage and moving to 24 hours each day with 2 nocturnists at night. This is a closed ICU setting, averaging 20-22 patient encounters per day shift clinician and a maximum of 14 admissions at night. We do not require our clinicians to perform procedures within this role. You only need to respond to codes for your patients, so you are able to assist the codes team. Presently all St. David's locations are using Meditech for their EMR. Apply today!
