Needing Internal Medicine or Family Practice Hospitalist in New York!
EXCEPTIONAL REMUNATION for Internal Medicine or Family Practice Hospitalists for a minimum of 7 days every month for 12-hour shifts, 7am-7pm.
192 Beds, Level 1 Trauma Hospital that is part of a Multi-Campus Healthcare System that includes 38 Outlying Primary and Specialty Care Centers.
6-month commitment with 60-day out clause.
EMR is Meditech.
Patient load is 15-22 patients per Day shift depending upon census and staffing.
They have an Admitter who works 10 days a month. The other days of the month, they do a round-robin where the Hospitalists on shift that day each do admissions with the Hospitalist with the least number of patients that day gets the first admission, and so forth.
No procedures required.
May attend codes.
See ICU patients (they have an open ICU), but they have a Pulmonologist who can be consulted and called in on ICU patients and give recommendations.
They have 3 rounders each day with the Director picking up overflow.
