Hospitalist Physician job (locum) in Huron, SD
Types of patients seen: For FM: Birth Geriatrics and for IM: 14-Geriatric. ADC is 12.3.
EMR: Cerner for inpatient.
Hospitalist volume is usually 4-8 inpatients per day in addition to oversight and admitting from ER.
Shifts: 24 Hours- 7 days for shifts. Would like week on and week off.
. BC/BE BC in IM or FM
b. What boards are accepted? Family Med or Internal Med
c. Residents Yes or No and what are the details? No
d. Life Certifications needed: BLS, PALS, ACLS (ATLS and NRP would be great)
e. Procedures logs needed or past amount of experience required and in what: Need to have IP Experience
f. Other qualifications needed: SD License and SD DEA
Credentialing: 30 days
See patients and rounding during day and on call in evening when there are no emergencies or admits. Apartment provided.
Facility would like to see a full week at a time picked up.
