DETAILS
- Oversee hospitalist service operations
- Supervise HM staff, per the bylaws, policies and procedures of the institution
- Represent the staff in the community and within the hospital
- Hospitalist Medical Director position in DMV region
- 50/50 split between clinical and admin duties
- Hospital is in northern VA (within 30 min of D.C.)
- Very desirable area/great schools/very diverse
- Large hospital, closed ICU, no procedures

- 16 patient encounters per physician

- HM rounding with a focus on observation status patients
