Lansdale Hospital, now part of Jefferson Health is seeking a full-time board-certified/eligible General Surgeon to join its Surgical Team. This position will cover inpatient surgical services and will include coverage for ER call and consults and coverage/follow up for other surgery consults within the hospital.

The ideal candidate will have training from an ACGME-accredited program. Candidates with acute care or minimally invasive/laparoscopic training are strongly encouraged to apply.

  • Busy Suburban Medical Center Based Practice
  • Monday-Sunday 8am-5pm two weeks on/two weeks off Schedule.
  • Call: 1 night per week

In addition, more than 23,000 people were treated in the past year in the hospital's emergency department. The hospital also earned a four-star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
  • Lansdale is home to an estimated 51,000 residents that serves all of the North Penn communities, as well as parts of neighboring Bucks County, for a total patient base nearing 200,000
  • Lansdale is served by the North Penn School District, with 13 elementary schools, three middle schools and one high school. The area is also home to numerous private and parochial schools, technical career centers, four-year colleges and two-year colleges.
