Coverage Needs Details:
- In-patient setting
- Day Shifts Only (7am to 7pm)
- No Call Coverage
- Accepting multiple providers
Candidate Requirements
- PA licensure
- Minimum 2 years experience
Job Details
- 7 on 7 off schedule preferred by client (May be flexible)
- Locum provider manages rounding on patients with one other physician and APP provider (7am to 7pm shifts)
- Open ICU ( Provider will cross-manage with the pulmonary team and intensivists during the day)
- Provider expected to cover rapids, manage codes
- Other Specialities On-site: General Surgery, Critical Care, Tele-nephrology, Pulmonologist in House 7am to 7pm to help cover ICU, Cath Lab and GI
- Rounders will split admissions work.
- AVG Census per day: In-patient 35 (Split between 2 doctors + 1 APP)
- Avg Census per Physician: 18
- 5-6 admissions per day
- Consults: 2-3 per day
- Consults per physician: 1-2 per day
Compensation for this opportunity is highly competitive at $220/hr.
