We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Physician (MD or DO) to join our acute care hospital in the Bay area. Our hospital is part of a large health system in California so there is support from other Medical Executives and Administrators. This person must be willing to relocate and/or already reside in the Bay area.
In this position you will work closely with both administrative staff and members of the medical staff and its leadership to maintain the high quality of medical care and to promote medical staff participation in the hospital. Accountable to ensure better, safer care, and to enhance the environment for practicing clinicians with the goal of providing patient centered care. Participates in development and implementation of quality initiatives including patient access and satisfaction, provider satisfaction, clinical outcomes and process improvement, and guideline development.
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:

- 12 years experience in clinical specialty
- MD or DO
- Active CA state license preferred
- Proven results around healthcare leadership, quality, utilization management and other initiatives required
