JOB INFORMATION
*Typical day: Nocturnist covers all patients at Northwest - admissions, codes, ICU, consults for Rehab, Behavioral Health, surgical, ortho.
*Open ICU
*Provider Will Not Work Solo
*PM Rounding, Will Respond to Codes, Will Provide Coverage for Transitional Care, Rehab and Behavioral Health Unit
*AVG Census: 70 Inpatient
*AVG Admissions: 5-7 per night
*AVG Consults: 1-3
*Patient Mix: 4% cardio, 90% Medical,3% Neuro, 3% Surgical
*Other Specialties Onsite: Pulmonary, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurology, ENT, Urology, Oncology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Some GI
*APP/Mid-Level Coverage not available
*Typical cases seen: CHF, COPD, DKA, Cellulitis, UTI's, pneumonia, A-fib, sepsis, chest pain, CVA, TIA, Resp. failure
*EMR: eRecord - Powerchart
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
*Active PA License
*DEA Required: Yes
*Board Status: Board Certified, Board Eligible
*Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS and Stroke Certified
*Minimum Years Experience (if applicable): 1
