Piedmont Columbus Regional is seeking aBE/BC Pediatricianto join an experienced inpatient team. The successful candidate will be employed by Columbus Regional Medical Group (a multi-specialty group practice of 80+ doctors). This physician will join a group with two experienced Pediatricians, and two Nurse Practitioners. In addition, we employ a pediatric neurologist, and pediatric endocrinologist.

The ideal candidate will be willing to teach, energetic and eager to learn. This practice provides a large patient base with a wide range of pathology and the administrative infrastructure necessary to support a new physician. An interest in adolescent medicine and developmental pediatrics is preferred but not required. We offer competitive benefits and opportunity for earnings at the 75thpercentile.

Piedmont Columbus Regional is part of Piedmont Healthcare’s integrated system of 22 hospitals. Our system in Columbus is comprised of two hospitals and a cancer center, serving a radius of more than 14 counties. The Midtown Campus is a 583-bed hospital and functions as a Level 2 Trauma Center with the region’s only Children’s Hospital including a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Neuroscience Center of Excellence, a newly renovated Emergency and Trauma Center as well as theSI and XI da Vinci Robot and plans for more. We also have the oldest Family Medicine Residency Program in the state and a robust Hospitalist program.

The Children’s Hospitalat Piedmont Columbus Regional’s Midtown Campus offers the region’s only dedicated pediatrics hospitalist program and Pediatrics ED. It features a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, state-of-the-art equipment, private and semi-private patient rooms, and a Child Life Center. As one of six regional perinatal centers in Georgia, The Children’s Hospital serves 21 counties in southwest Georgia and Lee and Russell counties in Alabama.


The Northside Campus is a 100-bed, general acute care hospital that is nationally recognized for delivering outstanding clinical quality, accompanied by the highest levels of customer service. Northside has opened a 12,000 square foot Emergency Department with 10 patient rooms and plans for expansion. The new ED at the Northside Campus is staffed with board-certified ER physicians 24/7 as well as creating other physician-led programs. When completed, the Northside Campus’ location and reputation will position itself well in the market. We are building on its excellence and are planning to meet the needs of north Columbus and Harris County for generations to come.

The John B. Amos Cancer Center is the only oncology center in the area to offer a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary program accredited by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons. The 107,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility employs 8 hematology oncologists, 3 radiation oncologists, 2 breast surgeons, a thoracic surgeon, a GYN Oncologist, and additional support staff.
