7p-7a; 7 on 7 Off, 1 week a month or 3 12hr shifts
Shifts/Month: 28 shifts per month | min shifts to be consider is 7 but wants 10-15 shifts per month
JOB INFORMATION
*Typical Day: Covering admissions to hospitalist service overnight, cross covering ICU patients, and managing nursing floor calls.
*Typical Cases Seen: Med/Surg with cross coverage of 6-8 bed ICU.
*AVG Inpatient Census per Day: 40
*AVG Admissions per Day: 7-8
*AVG Consults per Day: 3-4
*AVG Admissions per Night: 3-5
*AVG Consults per Night: 1-2
*Patient Mix: 100% Adult
*Other Specialties Onsite: Emergency Medicine: other services available via telemedicine are endocrinology, intensivists
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
*Active PA License
*Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPR
*Minimum Years Experience (if applicable): 2
