Locum Hospitalist needed in Southeast Ohio to start as soon as credentialed.
Details:
- BC Internal or Family Medicine
- Day & Night shifts needed for 7on/7off coverage
- Daily census- 20-25 daily per team
- Procedures Required- Due to open ICU hospitalist need to be skilled in intubation, central lines, and Vents. Hospitalists respond to codes
- Nightly admissions - Low night admissions (5-10 is a lot and it’s early in the night)
- Physician shifts- 7a-7p (2 physicians) and 7p-7a (1 physicians)
- *Daily encounters 10-15
- Number of ICU beds- 8 (OPEN ICU)
- EMR EPIC
- Specialty Coverages- cardiologist, neurologist, OB, Pulmonology
- They have 31 med surg beds/private rooms. They can double up if needed.
- The program offers outstanding specialty support along with a "Team" like approach with the ER.
- The practice enjoys the benefits of designated rounding and admitting function providers, along with PA and NP support.
- Active OH License, ACLS, BLS is required
- $500 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days.
