Opportunities for Physicians to join our Hospital Medicine team full-time at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam, New York. These are full-time immediate hire hospitalist positions for this 143-bed facility. The physician group with this established hospital medicine program sees an average of 40 patient encounters per day and will manage patients on regular floor and ICU, with vent management, codes, intubations, and central lines. Shifts are 7am to 5pm (2 physicians), 7am to 7pm, and 7pm to 7am, no call. Requirements include: Board certified or eligible in internal medicine or family medicine and ACLS certification. Will consider H-1B visa candidates.
Located in Mohawk Valley region of New York State and just 27 miles west of Albany, Amsterdam offers outdoor activities from stock car racing at Fonda Speedway to quieter pursuits at seven recreation areas. Golfers can enjoy three courses, including one designed by Robert Trent Jones. There are also many historic and cultural sites of interest, including a shrine to a martyr and sites related to the Mohawk Indians and the Revolutionary War.
