Join our growing Palliative Care team in Southeastern Connecticut. This position will provide inpatient consultative services at a 206 bed academic community hospital. You will join an established and respected team with full interdisciplinary support, including physician, APRN, social worker, and chaplain. There are many opportunities for clinical education and research, and the option exists for a part time clinical faculty appointment with Yale.

The Medical Director of Palliative Care Services oversees the palliative care program, is responsible for ensuring the program meets yearly goals and objectives and, along with senior leadership, support the growth and quality of the services.

Position Requirements include Board Certified/Board Eligible internal medicine or family medicine physician who has completed fellowship training in Hospice and Palliative Medicine and has been working in palliative care medicine. Additional experience growing a service and building an ambulatory program is desired.
