Palliative Care Physician

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Palliative Care Physician to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to adults with serious and life-limiting illnesses in Martinsburg, West Virginia. This is an opportunity to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to improve quality of life, manage complex symptoms, and support patients and their families throughout the course of illness.

The physician will provide palliative care consultations, evaluate and manage complex symptoms, assist with goals-of-care discussions, and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the medical team. Responsibilities may include pain and symptom management, advance care planning, end-of-life care, and coordination of care across appropriate settings.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, experience caring for medically complex adult patients, and a collaborative approach to working with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing, social work, and other members of the care team.

Requirements:

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hospice and Palliative Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or another appropriate specialty
• Active West Virginia medical license or eligibility to obtain one
• DEA registration as required
