Opportunity for Palliative Care Physician Location: Johnson City • Opportunity for a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Palliative Care Physician to serve in an outpatient-focused role with Associate Medical Director responsibilities. • Monday–Friday schedule with approximately 90% clinical care and 10% leadership/administrative duties. Join an established multidisciplinary team of: • Physicians • Nurse Practitioners • Social Workers • Administrative leadership Provide comprehensive outpatient palliative care services, including: • New patient consultations and follow-up visits • Physical examinations and diagnostic interpretation • Evidence-based treatment planning • Symptom management for pain, dyspnea, nausea, mood disorders, and functional decline • Advance care planning and goals-of-care discussions • Patient-centered, values-based care for patients and families Support program growth by: • Developing new outpatient initiatives • Enhancing palliative care service lines • Improving operational workflows • Assisting with strategic planning and program expansion • Evaluating clinical care models, quality, productivity, patient experience, and health equity • Collaborate with hospital departments and specialty providers to strengthen primary palliative care delivery throughout the health system. • Participate in interdisciplinary team rounding within a collaborative and supportive practice environment.
