- Other details: The facility which is stroke-certified is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours and beeper call if needed. Seeking two full-time locum hospice providers to deliver telehealth coverage on a Monday–Friday schedule from 8am to 5pm, with call responsibilities of 4–6 weeknights per month and approximately one weekend per month under a shared call structure. Guaranteed coverage is 8 hours per day, with overtime applying after 9 hours daily. Call volume may vary from minimal admissions and symptom management to multiple complex admissions, crisis visits, and GIP evaluations, with occasional NP support during weekends. Providers will manage a mix of IDT participation, consultations, medical consults, telehealth visits, and CTIs for a large active patient census. Candidates must hold active OR and WA licenses and DEA registrations, be Board-Certified or truly Board-Eligible within five years of residency, and be trained in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with strong hospice experience. BLS certification is required, and providers must be comfortable managing complex hospice patients independently in a telehealth setting.

Job Responsibilities
* Manage new admissions, symptom control, and complex hospice cases.
* Participate in IDT meetings, consultations, and medical consults.
* Conduct telehealth visits and complete CTIs.
* Handle crisis calls, GIP evaluations, and after-hours admissions as needed.
* Collaborate with NPs and interdisciplinary hospice teams.
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Qualifications
* Board-Certified or Board-Eligible within five years of residency.
* Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
* Extensive hospice care experience if trained in FM or IM.
* Active OR medical license and OR DEA registration.
* Active WA medical license and WA DEA registration.
* Current BLS certification.
Working Hours
* Guaranteed 8 hours per day.
* Overtime applies after 9 hours per day.
* On-call coverage 4–6 weeknights per month.
* Approximately one weekend of call per month.
