Hospice and Palliative Medicine

Join our dedicated team as a Hospice and Palliative Medicine provider and make a meaningful difference in patient care. This full-time opportunity offers a dynamic environment where you can utilize your expertise to improve quality of life for patients facing serious illnesses. Whether on-site or via telehealth, you’ll be integral in delivering compassionate, comprehensive care in a supportive setting that values your contributions.

Required Skills:
  • Active Oregon medical license and DEA certification
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (FM), Internal Medicine (IM), with significant hospice experience
  • Proven experience in hospice care and palliative medicine
  • Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
  • Ability to perform both on-site and telehealth consultations as needed
  • Flexibility to work Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, with willingness to participate in calls during evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight shifts
  • BLS certification

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience working across multiple healthcare settings
  • Familiarity with telehealth technology
  • Experience with complex symptom management and crisis intervention
  • Willingness to support both Portland and Medford locations

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • At least 2 years of direct hospice or palliative care experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of hospice protocols and interdisciplinary team coordination

Other Requirements:
  • Ability to work both onsite and remotely, with potential onsite requirements later in January
  • Willingness to participate in shared call rotations for coverage in Portland and Medford
  • Current licensure and certifications in good standing
  • Flexibility to work approximately 8 hours per day, with overtime paid after 9 hours
  • Start date: January 16, 2026

Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00
