Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00

Hospice and Palliative Medicine
Join our dedicated team as a Hospice and Palliative Medicine provider and make a meaningful difference in patient care. This full-time opportunity offers a dynamic environment where you can utilize your expertise to improve quality of life for patients facing serious illnesses. Whether on-site or via telehealth, you’ll be integral in delivering compassionate, comprehensive care in a supportive setting that values your contributions.
Required Skills:
- Active Oregon medical license and DEA certification
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (FM), Internal Medicine (IM), with significant hospice experience
- Proven experience in hospice care and palliative medicine
- Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- Ability to perform both on-site and telehealth consultations as needed
- Flexibility to work Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, with willingness to participate in calls during evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight shifts
- BLS certification
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience working across multiple healthcare settings
- Familiarity with telehealth technology
- Experience with complex symptom management and crisis intervention
- Willingness to support both Portland and Medford locations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- At least 2 years of direct hospice or palliative care experience
- Comprehensive understanding of hospice protocols and interdisciplinary team coordination
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work both onsite and remotely, with potential onsite requirements later in January
- Willingness to participate in shared call rotations for coverage in Portland and Medford
- Current licensure and certifications in good standing
- Flexibility to work approximately 8 hours per day, with overtime paid after 9 hours
- Start date: January 16, 2026
