Join Our Team as a Hospice and Palliative Medicine Specialist

This role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference while working within a supportive and collaborative environment, utilizing telehealth to reach patients in the southwest Washington and Portland metro areas.

Required Skills:
  • Active medical license in Washington (WA) and Oregon (OR)
  • WA DEA and OR DEA licenses
  • Board certification or Board eligibility in Family Medicine (FM) or Internal Medicine (IM) within five years of residency
  • Valid BLS certification
  • Proven experience in hospice and palliative care, with emphasis on managing complex cases
  • Excellent communication and clinical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to work telehealth platforms efficiently and effectively

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience working in hospice settings
  • Knowledge of crisis management and symptom control
  • Experience with telehealth delivery in hospice and palliative medicine
  • Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 2 years of practice in hospice and palliative care
  • Demonstrated experience with telehealth patient management

Other Requirements:
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday, with occasional call nights, weekends, and shared call responsibilities with Portland and Medford teams
  • Willingness to adhere to all applicable state and federal laws and regulations
  • Flexibility to work guaranteed hours with overtime as applicable
  • Reliable internet connection and necessary hardware for telehealth services
