Required Skills:
- Active medical license in Washington (WA) and Oregon (OR)
- WA DEA and OR DEA licenses
- Board certification or Board eligibility in Family Medicine (FM) or Internal Medicine (IM) within five years of residency
- Valid BLS certification
- Proven experience in hospice and palliative care, with emphasis on managing complex cases
- Excellent communication and clinical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to work telehealth platforms efficiently and effectively
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience working in hospice settings
- Knowledge of crisis management and symptom control
- Experience with telehealth delivery in hospice and palliative medicine
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years of practice in hospice and palliative care
- Demonstrated experience with telehealth patient management
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, with occasional call nights, weekends, and shared call responsibilities with Portland and Medford teams
- Willingness to adhere to all applicable state and federal laws and regulations
- Flexibility to work guaranteed hours with overtime as applicable
- Reliable internet connection and necessary hardware for telehealth services
