Job Responsibilities
• Inpatient palliative medicine consults
• Outpatient palliative care clinic coverage
• Oversight of home-based hospice services
• Collaborative care with APPs and care teams
• Goals-of-care discussions and symptom management
Qualifications
• Board Certified in Hospice & Palliative Medicine
• BLS certification (required)
• Active Michigan license (preferred)
• Strong interdisciplinary communication skills
Working Hours
• 7-on / 7-off schedule
• 24-hour call coverage during on-service weeks
• Average overnight calls: low volume
Skills
• Advanced symptom management
• End-of-life and goals-of-care discussions
