### Part-Time Hospice & Palliative Care Physician Opportunity in Westminster, MD

### Position Details
Specialty: Hospice & Palliative Care
Schedule: Part-time, 20 hours/week (0.5 FTE), hours vary
Practice Setting: Hospital-employed
Locations: Westminster, Randallstown, and Baltimore, MD
Responsibilities:
- Certify and recertify patient eligibility for hospice care
- Complete narrative for certificates of terminal illness
- Participate in weekly Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) meetings
- Develop, implement, and revise comprehensive plans of care
- Provide clinical leadership and medical expertise to IDG
- Write prescriptions (including controlled substances) and sign death certificates
- Review medication regimens for effectiveness, interactions, and outcomes
- Participate in on-call coverage, including weekends and holidays
- Serve as physician designee in the absence of the Medical Director
- Support inpatient and outpatient palliative care programs

### Candidate Requirements
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Hospice & Palliative Care, or relevant specialty
Experience in hospice or palliative care preferred
Strong clinical, communication, and leadership skills

Work closely with the Medical Director, interdisciplinary team, and administrative staff
Access to robust hospice and palliative care infrastructure
Collaboration with inpatient and home-based hospice programs

### Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $130,000 - $140,000 annually, based on experience
