Job description
The physician will primarily be caring for patients with terminal conditions in the medical center with special emphasis in the cancer patients but not limited to the cancer center. The individual will partner with existing psycho-oncology department, social work, clergy and the different hospice care agencies at the institution.
Physician will be given an opportunity to participate in research as part of the Columbia NCORE and the affiliation with the NCI designated cooperative groups.
We are specifically interested in candidates that have the desire to practice Palliative Care throughout Miami-Dade County.
Qualified candidates should be willing to participate in clinical practice and teaching.
Qualifications
Board Certified/ Eligible- Palliative Care
Florida License- required
Previous experience in Palliative Care- Preferred
Bilingual English/ Spanish- preferred
