Palliative Care Associate Medical Director in Baltimore Metro Area, MD
Full Time
Permanent Position
Seeking a full-time Associate Medical Director to partner with Medical Director in delivering expert hospice and palliative care across group facilities Westminster, Randallstown, and Baltimore.
Practice Highlights
* Partner with the Medical Director in shaping clinical care standards and daily operations
* Provide direct patient care within inpatient hospice units and outpatient/family-centered settings
* Mentor and supervise interdisciplinary team members, including APPs and medical staff
* Collaborate with facility leadership and community stakeholders to enhance quality and outreach
Responsibilities
* Participate in leadership meetings to plan and evaluate program development and performance
* Conduct patient assessments, create and implement care plans, and manage complex symptom control
* Lead education and training sessions for clinical staff
* Oversee quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications
* MD or DO, with Board Certification in Hospice & Palliative Medicine or equivalent experience
* Eligibility for a Maryland medical license
* Proven leadership or supervisory experience in hospice or palliative care settings
* Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines
Compensation & Benefits
* Competitive annual salary range of $220,000 $280,000, based on experience
