Hospice and Palliative Medicine Opportunity at Asante Hospice in Medford, Oregon

Asante is seeking a Hospice and Palliative Medicine physician for Medical Director of our growing hospice program. Our program provides comprehensive hospice services throughout Jackson and Josephine counties in beautiful Southern Oregon. Candidates must be BC/BE in hospice and palliative medicine with current medical license, unrestricted DEA license and driver’s license. At least 2 years of hospice or palliative medicine experience required. You will be joining a team of 2 board certified hospice physicians with an experienced interdisciplinary team. Our hospice is part of the Asante healthcare system that includes 3 hospitals and multiple physician groups. Asante has a well-established inpatient palliative care program and a newer ambulatory palliative care program in the Heiman Cancer Center. We have a strong partnership with the premier oncology group in the area. Asante hospice is expected to continue to grow. Our recent average daily census was 136 with a high dynamic census.
