SPECIALTY: Palliative Care Part Time Physician Needed
QUALIFICATIONS: Board Certified or Board Eligible in individual specialty, Fellowship Trained in Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sole provider of Palliative Care services on Campus
Referrals are common from Cancer Center, Family Practice, Hospitalist group, and Surgical Specialists. Provider must have the flexibility and time management skills to see patients in multiple locations (in close proximity) during scheduled days
Call is equitably shared with the 3 Palliative Care providers for the service. Call is phone contact only, no physical presence is expected.
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
Employment Salary
Part-Time position, contracted for @ 24 hours per week

Moving Expense Reimbursement: up to $10,000
Signing loan (bonus) available
CME $4,000 per year
CTO (Clinic time off) three weeks per year – no rollover
Oregon medical license, DEA and Med Staff dues paid directly by Health System
Choice of Health Saving Account or Preferred Provider Organization - Medical/Dental/Vision and Rx Benefits
Disability: Long term disability with benefit up to $15,000/month based on annual salary, Short term disability also offered
Malpractice Insurance: $1,000,000 - $3,000,000 (tail provided)
403(b) Retirement plan with up to six percent match in second year, flex plan benefit, group life insurance equal to amount of one year salary
PRACTICE SETTING:
This is a Hospital Based Practice. Provider will have a designated office space on the hospital campus as well as access to consultation rooms on the campus. Provider will perform consultations in outpatient clinics as well, primarily in the Cancer Care Clinic.
Hospice Medical Director
QUALIFICATIONS: Board Certified or Board Eligible in individual specialty, Fellowship Trained in Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Medical Director for Hospice Program.
Medical leadership of primary location in s County as well as satellite programs.
Collaborates with Hospice Physicians within Hospice services to provide the highest quality hospice program available.
Works collaboratively with multidisciplinary team of RN’s, social workers, spiritual care providers, and hospice executive director to create improved access and streamline processes within the hospice service
Responsible for growth and development of already established Hospice program; provides education to the public and to the medical community.
