📍 Position Overview
- Specialty: Malignant Hematology
- Location: Pennsylvania
- Start: ASAP
- Assignment Length: Minimum 6 months (ongoing potential through April 2027)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Setting: Outpatient clinic
- FTE Need: 40 hours/week
- EMR: Epic
🩺 Clinical Focus
- Leukemia and lymphoma management
- Malignant hematology cases
- New patient treatment planning
- Follow-up visits
🚫 No bone marrow transplant patients
🚫 No procedures required (APPs perform biopsies)
📊 Patient Volume
- 15–20 patients per day
- New visits: 45 minutes
- Follow-ups: 20 minutes
📞 Call Details
- Weeknight pager call (Mon–Thurs, 5 PM – 8 AM) as second call only
- Fellows take primary overnight call
- No weekend call
👥 Team Support
- 4 Hematology physicians onsite
- Dedicated APPs
- RN and MA support
- Collaborative cancer program
✅ Requirements
- Board Certified in Hematology
- Active Pennsylvania license (or willing to obtain)
- BLS & ACLS required
- PA DEA required
- Minimum commitment: 2 weeks/month (consecutive or alternating)
