This outpatient medical oncology opportunity begins on Mar 2, 2026, and features a Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm schedule with no call. Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage VAD/CV catheters and perform bone marrow biopsies
- Participate in a tumor board for coordinated patient care
- Oversee bone marrow transplant management
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and images
- Prescribe appropriate treatments and therapies
- Manage blood bank ordering and utilization
- Administer chemotherapy in conjunction with nursing staff
- Provide care for adult and geriatric oncology and hematology patients
Additional Information
- Must hold an active Indiana medical license
- Board certification in Medical Oncology required (AMBS/AOA)
- Demonstrated competency in both hematology and oncology required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Experience in outpatient medical oncology settings preferred
