Job Description – Inpatient Hematologist (Malignant Heme Focus)

Schedule & Coverage

Type: Inpatient + call

Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Call: Evenings + weekends (rotating)

Patient Volume: ~30–40/day

Support: APP support during the day (heme/onc). No APP support for nights/weekends.
Practice Environment

Setting: Inpatient + Infusion + some outpatient

Hospital Size: 590 beds

EMR: Epic

Malignant hematology expertise (mandatory)

Medical oncology skills
Provider Requirements

Board Certification: Required

License: Active MN or IMLC (emergency privileging possible with clean background)

Certifications: BLS

Experience: Minimum 2 years
Credentialing

Standard: 90 days (licensed) / 120 days (if license required)
