Job description
We are seeking a Board-Certified Inpatient Hematologist with experience in malignant hematology for locum tenens coverage at a leading academic cancer center in Minneapolis, MN. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing inpatient hematology patients and taking call as needed.
Job Responsibilities
Specialty: Hematology (Malignant Hematology required)
Setting: Inpatient only
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Call: Evenings and weekends (no APP support during call hours)
Start Date: September 26, 2025
Contract Length: 6 months, with option to extend or transition to permanent
Minimum Experience Required: 2 years
Support Staff
Daytime: Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) available for inpatient support
Call & Weekends: No APP support
