Hematology/Oncology Physician Locums Job in London, Kentucky | May-October

Schedule needed:
--Schedule: 5 days/week
--Start Date: 5/1/2024
--Duration of assignment: 3 months
--Shift times: 8am-4:30pm then night call starting at 4:30pm

Details/Requirements:
--Board Certification in Oncology
--Kentucky license required or IMLC (LOQ in hand)
--Clean malpractice preferred
--DEA, ACLS, BLS
--Required Procedures: Bone Marrow Biopsy
--EMR: EPIC
--Support Staff: Direct to MD - Clinic RN, APRN Other staff include: phlebotomist, Infusion RNs, Social Worker, RN Navigator, Phone triage/authorization team, etc.
--Duties: To see/work up new hematology and oncology patients, see follow up patients, oversee chemotherapy delivery/symptom management and attend tumor conferences.
--Admissions per day: 1-3 average/day inpatient consults
--Patients/day: 4-6 new patients (Hem/Onc), 15-20 follow-up, 20-25 total patients/day would be desired
--Types of Cases: new Hematology, new Oncology, follow up of both areas
