Clinical Trials Oncologist

The LSU Health New Orleans/LCMC Health Cancer Center in historic, highly desirable New Orleans seeks a Medical Oncologist. Join a team of 6 medical oncologists and 7 fellows whose mission is to provide the best possible care for every person and parish in Louisiana and beyond. Our multidisciplinary cancer center team includes researchers and clinicians who apply a range of expertise to cancer research, education, and patient care. This team is dedicated to furthering research on the pathogenesis, prevention, treatment, and eventual eradication of cancer.

Opportunity Highlights
  • Partner with the department of hematology/oncology in a mission-oriented practice focused on changing the landscape of cancer care in Louisiana and the surrounding states
  • Inaugural position to develop an NCI-Designated Cancer Care Center
  • Provide compassionate clinical care and participate in research and clinical trials
  • Opportunity to partner with the Louisiana Cancer Prevention and Control Program (LCP), which is a series of programs, projects, and studies that currently covers breast, cervical, HPV, colorectal, lung, and other tobacco-related cancers
  • Collaborate with surgical oncology, radiation oncology, gynecologic oncology, radiology, and pathology to provide multidisciplinary care and expertise to patients
  • Join a mission-oriented healthcare system that is built to serve communities’ and families’ unique needs across New Orleans, the Gulf Coast, and beyond
