NORTHERN New York location

Major Health System in Northern New York is representing a hospital that is seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist to become part of their team. This is a Hospital Employed position with an incredible earning potential.

If the Hospitalist has a question or the Lab receives a critical value -The physician may be called for Consult.

Work Week

Hours are Monday -Friday 8 AM to 4PM

Schedule -1 hour for new patients , 30 minutes for followup

1 to 2 New Patients per day . 12-14 patients per day for followup

Clinic has 3 exam rooms, 6 infusion charts , and onsite lab draw.

The Cancer Center has its own pharmacy with a oncology boarded pharmacist.

Pharmacist meets with all new patients to provide information about the medications,

treatments and answer questions .Radiation Oncologist is located in-house with

CT simulator and Linear accelerator. Weekly Tumor Boards.

Procedures

Bone Marrow Biopsies, perform 5-6 per month

Types of Cancer

Interesting cross section . Slightly higher levels of Lung Cancer . This Facility keeps most of the patients but will transfer to another facility as appropriate or work with other Cancer Centers

Base Salary is $630k, Sign on Bonus is $35k Incentives, Relocation $15k, Benefits & Malpractice
