Hematology Oncologist needed just over an hour to Sacramento California

• Board Certified or Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
• Employed position in comprehensive cancer center with radiation oncology academic partnership
• Clinic is open Mon- Friday, 8-5pm for the clinic and infusion is open form 8-6pm; possibility of 4 days and then ½ day admin day)
• Incoming candidate would be covering one hospital and would provide services at the hospital for BX, bone marrow BX, and intrathecal infusions to the hospital
• Oversee infusions in the clinic which consist of only intravenous infusions
• Full compliment of services including infusion suite with PGY2 trained pharmacist on site, supportive oncology services (social workers, dietitian, chaplain, support groups, navigation); women’s imaging and mobile PET/CT on site and select oncology related cardiac ultrasound
• Call 1:3
• NP assists with taking patient calls every 3 weeks to help decrease the calls that go to each provider. Light schedule, just orders
• MD average patient/day = 20-30 depending on volume
• 13 infusion chairs plus injection/port bay plus on-site lab
• Access to all Clinical Trials
• Providers are over the 100% of MGMA in RVU production
