Job Description

Hematologist-Oncologist needed to join a practice in Berlin, Maryland and be a part of an ever-growing network of services on the Eastern Shore. Join a hospital whose goal is to have a positive influence on the community through traditional personalized attention and advanced medical expertise. The primary focus of the Hematologist-Oncologist is to provide quality care and keep patients as healthy as possible.

Berlin is a charming city with reasonable housing options and great schools. Outdoor activities include hiking, kayaking, boating, fishing, and crabbing. Berlin is just a short drive to Ocean City and Assateague Island National Seashore. Ocean City is the East Coast’s favorite family vacation destination - enjoy 10 miles of free, clean beaches and the world-famous Boardwalk.

Details:

  • Full-time, direct-hire position
  • Hospital based setting with a full range of staff including a care team, advanced practitioners, psychologists, and other physicians
  • Schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Inpatient setting with an average of 15 to 18 patients per day
  • Treat all types of malignancy and blood diseases
  • Advanced technology available including diagnostic radiology services, PET, CT, MRI, mammography, ultrasound, IMRT, IGRT, HDRI, and nuclear medicine
  • Advanced breast diagnostic and lung cancer screening centers

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • Dual certification in Hematology and Oncology
  • Valid Maryland license
  • Current, unrestricted DEA
  • H1b visa accepted
  • Recent graduates encouraged to apply
