A facility 1 hour west of Springfield, Massachusetts urgently needs a physician to assist with cases of hematology and oncology. Are you available?
- Urgent need
- Dates: As soon as credentialed - ongoing
- Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM plus call
- Call: weekdays: 5:00 PM - 8:00 AM; weekends: 5:00 PM Friday - 8:00 AM Monday; 1:5 rotation
- Volume: 20 patients per day in clinic, 1 patient per day in hospital; 95% clinic, 5% hospital; 45% hematology, 55% oncology; 100% adult
- Cases: hematology, oncology, chemotherapy, blood bank, intrathecal/intracavitary chemotherapy, bone marrow biopsy
- Support: 18 RNs, 9 MAs
- Requirements: Board certified in oncology, board eligible accepted if within 2 years post residency; active Massachusetts license, participation on tumor board; Board certified in hematology preferred (in addition to certification in oncology)
- EMR: AllScripts
- Credentialing: 6-8 weeks
