I have an ongoing need for a locum tenens physician who is able to help their cancer team starting in early 2019 and ongoing.
- Available dates: Feb 4, 2019 - ongoing
- Schedule: Mo-Fr 8a-5p regular
- Call schedule: 1:7 (not outpatient); Weekday when not on hosp svc 8a-5p: weekend when ON hosp svc Mo 8a - Mo 8a*, call back is not common
- Procedures: hematology, oncology, participation on a tumor board, chemotherapy (intrathecal preferred), nurse oncologist
- Patient demographics: 16-20ppd; 100% adult; 80%+ office/clinic; <15% hospital-based; 30% hematology/70% oncology
- Certifications: must be BC or BE in Oncology; or BC/IM Hematology; PALS/APLS; and MI license
- Specialty backups: Radiation Oncologist, Oncology Nurse Liaison, MA, Receptionist, Scheduler, Chemotherapy staff
- EMR: Mosaiq (Cancer Ctr); Cerner (Borgess); Epic (Bronson)
- Credentialing: within 60-90 days
