Opportunity Overview

  • Hematology/Medical Oncology physician needed for a gap in coverage

  • 0.25 FTE

  • Outpatient setting

  • Hospital and clinic privileges required, located within the same building

  • Adult and geriatric patient population

  • Average daily volume: 12-16 patients

  • Infusion services available

  • Physician will work independently

Schedule & Coverage

  • Coverage needed beginning October 2026

  • Part-time, 0.25 FTE

  • No call requirement

  • 8 hours of orientation required

Clinical Details

  • Provide Hematology and Medical Oncology services

  • Outpatient medical oncology and hematology care

  • Infusion services

  • Bone marrow biopsy

  • Applicant must provide documentation of Hematology/Medical Oncology services representative of the scope and complexity of the requested privileges during the previous 24 months

  • Case log requirement may be waived for applicants who completed training within the previous year

  • EMR: EPIC

Requirements

  • MD/DO

  • Alaska medical license required at the time of presentation

  • DEA required

  • BLS, ACLS, or PALS certification required

  • Clean credentialing files preferred for expedited credentialing
