Med Ninjas is seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician for short term locum tenens coverage at an inpatient and outpatient facility located in Lewisburg, PA.
The Physician must be available for the complete coverage block from 11/23/2026 to 01/04/2027.
This assignment includes outpatient clinic coverage, hospital inpatient consults, general hematology and oncology care, adult patient care, and weeknight and weekend call coverage.
Locum Tenens Hematology/Oncology Physician
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM; full-time, 4 days/week may be considered
Start Date: 11/23/2026
End Date: 01/04/2027
Position Details:
Patient Population: Adults, 18+
Setting: Clinic and Acute Care Hospital
Responsibilities: General oncology and hematology care; inpatient hospital consults as needed
Required Procedures: Hematology and Oncology
EMR System: EPIC
Support Staff: 2 front office staff, 1 RN, 1 MA, 1 Navigator, and additional support personnel
Days Per Month: Full-time, Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM; 4 days/week may be considered
On-Call/Weekends: Weeknight and weekend call, 1:2 rotation, 60/40; call is optional per schedule
Required Procedures and Skills
- General hematology and oncology
- Community-based oncology and hematology practice
- Adult patient care
- Inpatient oncology/hematology consultations
Requirements
- BC or BE in Oncology required
- PA license or IMLC LOQ required to present
- DEA required
- Full-time availability preferred; 4 days per week may be considered
- Credentialing timeframe: approximately 90 days
