Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Coverage: Full-time; 4 days per week is acceptable
Practice Setting: Clinic & Hospital
EMR: Epic
Opportunity Details:
A new Medical Oncology and Hematology practice is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Hematology/Oncology physician for locum tenens coverage. The practice opened on September 8, 2026, and is located within a 131-bed hospital.
- Adult patient population (18+)
- Approximately 10 patients per day, with volume expected to grow
- 60% Oncology / 40% Hematology
- Community-based general Hematology/Oncology practice
- Inpatient consults may be required when oncology/hematology patients are admitted
- Clinic is located inside the hospital
- One full-time employed physician is currently on staff
Support Staff:
The new practice includes:
- 2 Front Office Staff
- 1 RN
- 1 Medical Assistant
- 1 Patient Navigator
- Additional support personnel
Call:
- Weeknight and weekend call
- 1:2 call ratio
- 24-hour call coverage
- 2 hours of gratis time for 24-hour call
Requirements:
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Hematology/Oncology
- Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ) required to present
- DEA required
