Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Full-Time: 4 days per week may be considered
EMR: Epic
Hospital Size: 131 beds
Practice Overview:
A new Medical Oncology and Hematology practice is opening within the hospital and is seeking a Hematology/Oncology physician for full-time locum tenens coverage.
The practice is community-based and will provide comprehensive care for adult patients (18+) with general hematology and oncology conditions.
- Approximately 10 patients per day, with volume expected to grow
- Patient mix: approximately 40% Hematology / 60% Oncology
- Clinic located inside the hospital
- Inpatient hematology/oncology consultations may be required
- New practice with dedicated clinical and administrative support
Support Staff:
The physician will have support from:
- 2 Front Office Staff
- 1 RN
- 1 Medical Assistant
- 1 Navigator
- Additional support personnel
Call Coverage:
- Weeknight and weekend call required
- 1:2 call rotation
- Approximately 60/40 call distribution
- 2-hour gratis for 24-hour call
- Call-back compensation available
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
- PA medical license or IMLC Letter of Qualification required to present
- DEA required
