### Locums | Hematology/Oncology Hospitalist | Inpatient | Spokane, WA ### Why This Role * Urgent, ongoing inpatient oncology assignment * No call, nights, or outpatient clinic duties * Full-time or 7-on/7-off coverage options * Epic EMR * Washington license or IMLC accepted ### Assignment Details * Start Date: September 1, 2026, pending privileges * End Date: Ongoing * Schedule: Inpatient clinical hours, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM * Coverage Options: * One full-time provider * Two providers working 7-on/7-off * Minimum commitment of two weeks per month * Setting: Inpatient oncology hospitalist service * Call: None * Patient Volume: Approximately 15 per shift * Admissions: Not required * Guaranteed Hours: Eight hours per day * Overtime: Applies after nine hours per day * EMR: Epic * Credentialing: Approximately 30 days for clean files; up to 90 days through the full process * Temporary Privileges: Available for qualifying clean files * Housing: Long-term housing requires preapproval; regional budget is approximately $3,600 monthly ### Requirements * Board Certified in Medical Oncology or Hematology/Oncology * Active Washington license or IMLC eligibility * Active DEA * Recent inpatient oncology experience * Current CV required at presentation * Ability to return credentialing documents promptly * Availability for full-time or at least two weeks per month * Clean professional file required for expedited temporary privileges ### Clinical Details * Provide inpatient medical oncology and hematology/oncology hospitalist coverage * Manage approximately 15 hospitalized oncology patients per shift * Collaborate with three APPs, two RNs, and four MAs * Work within a Level II Trauma Center * No admissions, outpatient clinic, call, APP supervision, or teaching responsibilities
