Board Certified/Board Eligible - Hematology/Medical OncologyJob Details:
- Seeking two dedicated Hematologist/Medical Oncologists to join an existing team focused on relationship-based cancer care
- Average patient load of 12-15 follow-up visits and 1-2 new patients per day
- Consultative call only with approximately 10 days of call per month; hospitalists manage admissions and nighttime coverage
- Access to a comprehensive support team including genetic counselors, nutrition support, social work, nurse navigation, research nurses, physical rehabilitation, and lymphedema specialists
- On-site specialty services include Radiation Oncology, Surgery, Interventional Radiology and Cardiology, and Palliative Care
- Participate in Multidisciplinary Tumor Board Conferences and telemedicine/community cancer center initiatives
- 24-chair on-site Ambulatory Infusion Center averaging 40 patient visits per day, administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive medications
- Access to clinical trials through the NCI Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP)
- Nurse Practitioner-run High Risk Breast Program, Survivorship Clinic, and Low Dose CT Lung Cancer Screening program
- Quarterly professional development meetings with Hematology/Oncology providers and mentorship opportunities with colleagues in Duluth and Fargo
- Potential for outreach opportunities after establishing your practice
- Dyad-led organization with physician and administrative leadership
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in both Hematology and Medical Oncology required
